New York Haul!

During my trip to New York I bought quite of few items.

I got these nail polishes at American Apparel. They were on sale for 3 for $15. Such a good deal!

These were the names if any of you were interested in getting them.

I've been wanting this Michael Kors cross over for a while. Me and my cousin, went to an outlet mall called Woodbury Common, we saw it on sale for $100!

This fedora was probably one of my favourite purchases. It was from Forever 21 and only $4!

These shoes were from Polo Ralph Lauren which I also bought at the outlet mall and were only $30.

Once I spotted this top, I knew I had to have it!
It's from Forever 21 in Times Square and I think it was about $15.

If you noticed, these dresses are actually the same except in different colours (don't judge me).
I got it from Marshals and I absolutely love them (hence why I bought two)

I have been trying to look for this crop top / bandeau top everywhere!
I saw it in Toronto first, never bought it, and fully regretted it.
Once I saw it in the Forever 21 in New York, I immediately grabbed it! [$15]

Marshal's is where it is at! this is where I bought this top from.
I'm really liking the royal blue colour lately too.

A short, no sleeve, denim jacket is a must for me this season!
I got this one from Forever 21 for $25!

Of course I had to stock up on my favourite tanks from Forever 21 (again) which are only about $2.50 each.

Also from Marshal's, I love this lace/denim top!
I think it was about $19.99.

Last, but not least, since I love denim that much, I bought this denim top from Marshal's too!
The polka dots complete the top and I love it.

YouTubers

Over the past couple years I started to become more obsessed with YouTube than TV. It all started when my friend introduced me to a family of daily bloggers called the Shaytards. I don't know why but something made me drawn to their family and how they are so happy vlogging themselves living life. I started watching them daily and I got to know them a bit more. It was like I knew them in real life, a very weird concept to me since I only knew them through YouTube videos.

I them started to branch out. I realized the Shaytards aren't the only people vlogging daily as a living. The next couple I started to watch is Charles and Alli Trippy, also known as CTFxC on YouTube.

These two families opened up the world of YouTube to me. I started finding a bunch of other YouTubers. Not all were daily vloggers but they did make entertaining content for me to watch.

YouTube started to replace TV for me because I had all the entertainment I needed on one website whenever I felt like watching something.

I am now subscribed to many other YouTubers such as:

- sawyerhartman
- TheMazziMaz
- WHATTHEBUCKSHOW
- PointlessBlog
- FunForLouis
- Janoskians
- ApprenticeEh
- 16bitsam
- JacksGap
- zoella280390
- ThatcherJoe
- dicasp
- maybabytumbler
- Sprinkleofglitter
- tyleroakley
- StilaBabe09
- MarcusButlerTV
- thatPoppyTV
- Troye Sivan

It is a long list but each of these channels are amazing for their own unique reason.

Now I would like to know what Youtubers do you watch?

Disney Movies: Camp Rock

Last week after I came back from New York instead of relaxing at home I rushed to make it in time for my friend's birthday celebration. It was at her house and her mom made us some amazingly tasty brazilian food. After that we decided to sing some karaoke. She only had the disney karaoke which no one complained about since we love Disney songs. We sang everything from Camp Rock to High School Musical and even Push It To The Limit by Corbin Bleu. It was very fun. We were laughing, sining along and even competing with every other.

The past couple of days, I haven't been able to get Camp Rock sings out of my head so I finally decided to sit down and watch both movies today since I had nothing else to do.

The movies were incredible. I like it just as much as the first time I watched it. I definitely have to catch up on some classic Disney movies. Maybe High School Musical next? Or maybe The Thirteenth Year? Cheetah Girls? There are too many to choose. I'll just have to watch them all.

March Break 2012 (New York)

I haven't posted in a while since it's been pretty hectic but I thought I share with you guys what I did last week for March Break. It started off pretty normal. Stayed at home, watch youtube videos, go shopping, then on Tuesday night I had this idea that ended up turning AMAZING! I decided to go to London Pub, this place that makes really good chicken wings. It ended up being me, my parents and my cousin, Janine ( theeoptimist.blogspot.ca ). During dinner, we were conversating as people usually do when all of a sudden my parents bring up Janine's New York trip which she was heading out to the next morning. They started asking a bunch of questions about the trip, the dates, the hotels etc. when out of nowhere they said, "Cecile, do you wanna go with her?".

What do I say, "OF COURSE!".

So after dinner I went home, packed all my stuff in an hour and headed to Janine's house since they were leaving at four in the morning.

It was an amazing trip. We went to Times Square, 5th Avenue, SoHo, Greenwich Village. Basically, all the spots to shop. We even took a day to go to an outlet mall as if we didn't buy enough stuff. I bought everything on my list and all on a discount which is never a bad thing. We also met up with a friend who was also in New York with her parents for March Break. It couldn't have been better planned.

Here are some pictures I took during the trip:

SoHo

The M&M store in Times Square. I splurged a little a got my new favourites, pretzel and raspberry.
