The Beginning of My Health Journey

Last night I decided to start The Londoner's anti diet. My friend, Chloe, introduced me to it a few nights ago so I thought I should check it out. Turns out it was definitely worth my time. I think this would be a life changer for me. All the tips seem so useful and helpful so this is day 1 of many for me using it. This anti diet will hopefully help me become more fit and happier with the way I eat.

Here are some of my favourite points from her post.

     1) The anti diet is about realizing the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger. Emotional hunger is bad and should be avoided at all costs. The hunger would come suddenly and causes unhealthy cravings. Eating when you have emotional hunger would causes guilt and that is never a good thing.

     2) The anti diet post taught me that water is amazing. Usually when you think you're hungry, you are actually thirsty. So next time when you feel the urge to eat, drink some water and wait 10-15 minutes. If you're still hungry then eat.

     3) The Londoner taught me there is a hunger scale. Her blog has a diagram of the different stages of hunger but basically to eat you should be at a 3 or 4 our of 10 and stop eating until 5 or 6. Anything above 6 means you will become uncomfortable and bloated.
I took this picture from The Londoner's anti diet post.
Since I am going to start this anti diet, I am going to try posting daily about how I am doing food wise as well as fitness wise. My next post which will come shortly will be about today and how I did as well as some goals.

If you have any goals that you are working towards or want to start achieving, let me know! I would love to here your goals and how you are reaching it.

Till next time (which will be soon),

Cecile

    1. You should definitely start! It's really good because the anti diet isn't asking you to starve yourself. It just says make sure your body is physically hungry when eating.
